BIOGRAPHY

Daniele Belardinelli collaborated with Stefan Anton Reck, Pierre Boulez, Seji Ozawa and Claudio Abbado at the most important halls and theaters, with the most important Orchestras such as the National Orchestra of France, the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and the Berliner Filarmoniker. 

 

Since 2009 he is Music Director of the Italian Orchestra of Cinema in Rome (first Italian symphonic  ensemble dedicated to the interpretation and performance of film music).

 

He is guest of Italian and International Orchestras: “Fondazione Arena di Verona”, “Teatro Comunale di Bologna”, “Teatro Massimo di Palermo”, “Tokyo City Orchestra”, “Teatro Verdi di Trieste, “Slovak State Philharmonic Orchestra”, “Nancy Symphony Orchestra”, “Bratislava Radio Orchestra”, “Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra”.He opened the editions 2003 and 2012 of the Summer Festival of Macerata Opera, conducting “Cimarron” and “Traviata". He also opened the opera season 2003/04 at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, conducting "Jeanne d' Arc au Boucher”, and at the Verona Philharmonic Theatre, conducting "Le Donne Curiose". He opened the opera season 2004 of the Japan Opera Foundation at the New National Theatre in Tokyo, and again in 2005 at the Bunkamura Orchardhall, with "Il Campiello” and “Traviata". He conducted "Il Viaggio a Reims" at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, in Verona Philharmonic Theatre the ballet “Dylan Dog", at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste "Pigmalione" and "La Canterina", at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo "Piccolo Mozart", at the Theatres of Reggio Emilia and at the Ravello Festival "The Cimarron", in Ireland for the Wexford Opera Festival "Princessin Brambilla", in Switzerland at the Théâtre du Passage in Neuchâtel "L'Italiana in Algeri", at the Theatre Wielki in Warsaw "Rigoletto".

 

He inaugurated the First Edition 2011 of Beijing Film Festival at the National Center for The Performing Arts (NCPA) and the XXIII Central European Music Festival in Košice (European Capital of Culture 2013) with Julia Fischer. He was invited to conduct multimedia symphonic concerts in prestigious theaters and locations such as: Piazza Campidoglio in Rome "The sound of Neorealism", Piazza della Basilica in Orvieto "Orvieto4ever", and in prestigious venues such as the historic setting of the Great Hall of The People (home of the Chinese parliament) in Tiananmen Square, Villa Wolkonsky in Rome for “The Queen's Diamond Jubilee”, in Milano at the Piccolo Teatro in Strelher billboard, in Milano for “MiTo Settembre Musica” with "Homage to Federico Fellini", at the international Film Festival of Rome with "Cinematology", at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome with "Albert - one!", at the The Royce Hall in Los Angeles with "Beyond La Dolce Vita".He conducted concerts in Italy at: Teatro dal Verme in Milan, Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Teatro Rossini in Pesaro, Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi, Ravello Festival. And abroad: in Budapest, in Georgia at the Rustaveli Theatre in Tbilisi's, in Ljubljana at the Cankarjev Dom, in France at the Opera House Nancy, in Slovakia with the Slovakia Philharmonic, in Bratislava and Žilina, in Osaka - Japan at the auditorium Kolbeco, in New York at Carnegie Hall.     He recorded for Naxos: "The Piano Romance" and the opera "Princessis Brambilla". He recorded ‘live for: Radio 3 suites (the prize winner "The Cimarron" by Abbiati,) and RAI TV (“The Curious Women" by Wolf-Ferrari), for RAI TV International (premiere concert "Le Marche nel Mondo") , SKY TV in collaboration with Class CNBC, ("Journey into Cinematology"), and for the Chinese state broadcast CCTV with an audience of over 100 million viewers.He conducted contemporarey music (by Serino, Marzocchi, D'Aquila etc.), and contemporary music festivals (Prima Verona, “Nuova Consonanza”). He conducted unpublished and debut performances of works such as "Princessin Brambilla" by W. Braunfels and "Lo Sposo al Lotto" by F. Stable. Since 2008 he teaches Orchestral Conducting at the Conservatory E.R. Duni in Matera, Italy.
